• Wait until the Alexa dot device appears on your smartphone and choose it.  You will be prompted to visit the wireless settings.  Once you are there, click on the network named "Amazon XXX"  and get back to the Alexa app.
• Select the wireless network to which you want to connect your Alexa dot device.  When prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password.
•  Select the external speaker that your Alexa dot device is going to use.  If you do not want to connect your device to the external speaker you can skip the step. 
• Select the room in which your device is located or you can create the new room for your Alexa dot device.
